I. Overview:
The high and medium pressure flanged gate valves are suitable for pipelines in various systems such as petroleum, chemical industry, water conservancy, and thermal power stations where the nominal pressure is PN1.6～16.0MPa and the working temperature is ≤-29℃～550℃, to cut off or connect the pipeline medium. The applicable media include water, oil products, steam, acid, alkali, ammonia, urea, etc.
The opening and closing part is the gate, whose moving direction is perpendicular to the fluid direction. The gate valve can only be fully opened or fully closed, and cannot be used for regulation and throttling. The gate has two sealing surfaces; the two sealing surfaces of the most common wedge gate valves form a wedge shape, and the wedge angle varies with valve parameters. The gate of a wedge gate valve can be made as a whole, called a rigid gate; it can also be made as a gate that can produce slight deformation, so as to improve its processability and compensate for the deviation of the sealing surface angle generated during processing. This type of gate is called an elastic gate. This type of valve should generally be installed horizontally in the pipeline.

4. The valve stem is subjected to quenching and tempering and surface nitriding treatment, providing good corrosion resistance, scratch resistance, and wear resistance.
5. Adopting a wedge-type elastic gate structure, with thrust bearings installed for medium and large diameters, resulting in low friction. It is also equipped with an impact handwheel, making opening and closing smooth and effortless.
6. Various piping flange standards and flange sealing surface types can be adopted to meet various engineering and user requirements.
